ProseRelay Documentation
Everything you need to turn your notes into LinkedIn posts and X threads that sound like you.
What ProseRelay Does
ProseRelay turns what you actually did (rough notes, a meeting transcript, something you shipped) into a LinkedIn post or an X thread written in your own voice. You can also start from a topic, and ProseRelay will research the web and cite real articles.
A small pipeline of specialised agents does the work, and you stay in control: you review every draft before it is saved or published.
- Story Agent: reads your notes, picks one angle and extracts what happened, including the exact numbers, names and decisions.
- Research Agent: searches the web for a topic and extracts facts with citation links.
- Writer Agent: drafts the post using only that material, in your voice.
- Editor Agent: polishes the draft and lists every change it made.
Getting Started
You can read these docs and the rest of the public site without an account. To write posts you need to sign in with Google.
- 1Click Sign In in the top bar and choose your Google account.
- 2You land in the Studio. Optionally open Voice DNA to teach ProseRelay how you write (recommended, see Voice DNA below).
- 3Choose how to start: From my experience or From a topic.
- 4Pick LinkedIn Post or Thread, choose a tone, and generate.
- 5Review the draft, edit it, and approve it. It is saved to your Library.
Writing From Your Experience
This mode writes from your own material, so posts contain real details instead of generic advice.
- 1Choose From my experience.
- 2Pick what kind of notes you are pasting: what you shipped, meeting or call notes, a lesson learned, or anything else.
- 3Paste your notes. Rough is fine; the Story Agent finds the post inside.
- 4Optionally describe what the post should be about. Leave this empty and ProseRelay picks the strongest angle.
- Only what is in your notes: the Writer is told never to invent events, numbers, outcomes, quotes or people.
- Your notes are treated as untrusted text, so instructions pasted inside them are ignored.
- Check before you post: anything that looks confidential (client names, private people, internal numbers, credentials) is listed next to the draft so you can remove or rephrase it.
- Your original notes are not stored. Only the extracted story is kept with the saved post.
Writing From a Topic
Use this mode when you want a post grounded in current, citable sources.
- 1Choose From a topic and describe what you want to research and write about.
- 2ProseRelay searches the web and shows you the articles it found.
- 3Keep the articles you trust and drop the rest.
- 4ProseRelay extracts the key facts and trends, with source links, and writes the draft from them.
- The Result view lists the facts, trends and clickable citation URLs behind the post.
Formats, Tones and Limits
Choose the output format and the tone before you generate.
- LinkedIn Post: a hook, structured takeaways and a closing call to action. Kept under LinkedIn’s 3,000 character limit, with the first line short enough to show before “see more”.
- Thread (1/X): a numbered multi-post narrative. Every post stays within X’s 280 character limit, counting the numbering. Links count as 23 characters.
- Tones: Professional, Conversational, Technical, or Thought Leadership.
- Image prompts: optionally get a ready-to-paste prompt for an AI image tool in a style such as photorealistic, minimal illustration, flat vector, 3D render, editorial or infographic.
Reviewing and Editing a Draft
When human review is on, the pipeline pauses on the draft before it is finalised. This is the most important step: it is also how ProseRelay learns from you.
- Edit the draft yourself directly in the editor.
- Or send revision instructions (for example, “shorter, lead with the result”) and the Editor Agent rewrites it.
- Approve when you are happy. The post is packaged and saved to your Library.
- Click any agent in the sidebar to inspect what it did and what it produced.
Voice DNA and Learning From Your Edits
Voice DNA captures how you write. Open it from the Voice DNA button in the top bar.
- 1Add samples of your writing, either by pasting text or by importing from URLs such as your past posts or articles.
- 2Save the profile. The Writer and Editor now apply it to every draft, including regional and bilingual phrasing.
- Learning from edits: whenever you approve a draft or edit a saved post, ProseRelay compares the AI draft with your final text.
- After a few meaningful edits it distils a short list of style rules, such as “open with the result, not a greeting”, and applies them to future drafts together with Voice DNA.
- The Voice DNA screen shows how many posts you reviewed, the rules learned, and how much you change drafts over time.
- Reset deletes all stored draft pairs and learned rules. You can also delete your Voice DNA profile at any time.
Saved Library and Publishing
Every finished post is saved to your Library, where you can find and reuse it.
- Search, open, edit and delete saved posts. Edits to a saved post also feed the learning loop.
- Copy: one-click copy of the final text.
- Publish: post to LinkedIn or X directly. Threads are posted one reply at a time.
- Export: download a Markdown file with the final post, metadata, editorial log, and your extracted story or the cited sources.

Troubleshooting and FAQ
Common questions and fixes.
- I was sent back to the home page: you need to be signed in to use the Studio and Library. Sign in and try again.
- The draft sounds generic: set up Voice DNA with a few real samples of your writing, and give the Story Agent specific notes with numbers and decisions.
- A post is too long: ProseRelay targets the platform limits, but check the character count before publishing and trim in the editor if needed.
- Something is wrong or missing: use the feedback widget at the bottom of any page and tell us what happened.
Sign in with Google and your first post is a few minutes away.
